What is raw denim?
Raw denim is a type of denim that hasn’t been through a washing or distressing process. It is denim in its purest form. With raw denim, you get to break in your own pair of jeans and create fades that are unique to you and your lifestyle.
Does raw denim stretch?
Within the first two weeks of wear, your LSG jeans will stretch up to 1” in the waist. It’s common for customers to order one size smaller than usual. Rather than compare to other retail brands, we recommend that you measure your best-fitting pair of jeans and refer to our handy sizing chart for guidance.
What is selvedge denim?
“Selvedge” comes from “self-edge”, referring to the finished or “locked” edge of the fabric that prevent edges from unraveling. This narrow, woven fabric can only be made using an old school shuttle loom. This is a very slow process that requires skill of a master artisan to operate. The end result is a throwback to old standards: a tightly woven, higher quality fabric with clean finished edges.
How do I wash my jeans?
We recommend handwashing your jeans in cold water with mild detergent and hang-drying them. If you want to use a washing machine,we recommend a front-loading machine. Turn your jeans inside out,then put them in the washing machine by themselves. Wash with cold water on a delicate cycle. Hang to dry. Wash less for high contrast fade. Wash frequently for uniform fade. Avoid the dryer at all costs.
How do I prevent crotch blowouts?
Some of the reasons crotch blowouts happen are friction (from thighs rubbing), fabric breakdowns from infrequent washing, intense physical activity, and — of course — time! We recommend washing your jeans consistently and making repairs at the earliest signs of wear, to prevent further damage and maximize the life of your jeans.
Is there a guarantee that all items listed on site are available?
Despite our best efforts to synchronize the website with our stock, some item being noted as “in stock” may not be available. In such cases, we will automatically refund your payment and inform you shortly after the order is placed.
Do you offer a hemming service?
Currently, we don’t offer a hemming service.
Where are your jeans made?
We make all our jeans in a small facility in Kathmandu, Nepal and Bangkok, Thailand.
